      In the southern part of thailand, just a little north of the island of Phuket on the mainland is the city of Phang-nga. The islands of Phang-nga, which were used as one of the movie locations by the Jame Bond movie," The Man with the Golden Gun", are located just off the coast of the mainland. There are many small islands that look like chimneys with trees growing on top. One of these islands  was used as the hideout of the villain in the movie.
